TAYLORS PRIME STEAKS IS QUITE POSSIBLY ONE OF THE BEST STEAK HOUSES. I HAVE HAD THE PLEASURE TO DINE IN. THE ATMOSPHERE IS COZY AND RELAXING, BUT
MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, EATING THE STEAK IS SERIUOS BUSINESS. THE PORTIONS ARE HUGE AND THE MEAT IS ALWAYS PREPARED PERFECTLY. THE SERVICE IS EASILY WORTHY OF A FIVE STAR RATING AND ECLIPSES
THAT OF ANY OTHER STEAK HOUSE IN THE AREA.
Thank goodness, some actual REAL, down-home food that isn't caught up in crass commercialism. Food that is cooked well, and served with expedience, this is a nice kick of reality in the tourist mall.
Taylor's exudes old-school ambiance, with red booths, dark woods and dim lighting. They offer wonderful cuts of meat, complete with a baked potato, veggie side and a salad for a great, overall price. Try the Culotte (only 2 cuts per steer)--it's a really juicy, thick cut of meat. It's a great place to order a Manhattan and slice into a great meal. The location in La Canada is equally cool.
